Nobel Peace Prize laureate Tawakkol Karman has issued a forceful condemnation of the massacres unfolding in El Fasher, describing them as a grim escalation in the United Arab Emirates’ confirmed campaign of destruction against the Sudanese people.

In a statement shared on her official social media platforms, Karman declared that the atrocities in El Fasher are not isolated incidents but part of a deliberate and sustained pattern of violence orchestrated and fueled by the UAE. “The genocide being perpetrated in El Fasher is nothing but a new chapter in the crimes committed by the UAE against the Sudanese people and our entire nation,” she wrote.

Karman emphasized that justice will prevail, asserting that those responsible for these crimes—including the financiers and arms suppliers—will face prosecution. “The perpetrators of these massacres will not escape punishment,” she stated, calling on the international community to confront the architects of Sudan’s devastation.
