Nobel Peace Prize Laureate and human rights activist Tawakkol Karman expresses condolences for the death of former Qatari Emir Sheikh Khalifa bin Hamad Al Thani on Sunday.

Yemen’s Nobel Peace Prize Laureate and human rights activist Tawakkol Karman was granted today the 2016 Freedom Award by the US National Civil Rights Museum. 

Yemeni human rights activist and Nobel Peace Prize Winner Tawakkol Karman has reiterated condemnation of crimes against civilians the Iran-backed Shiite militias of Houthis and forces loyal to ousted president Saleh keep committing in Taiz province, south of Yemen’s rebel-controlled capital Sana’a. 

Yemen’s Nobel Peace Prize Laureate and human rights activist Tawakkol Karman has received today the Freedom Award the US National Civil Rights Museum in Memphis presets annually to women and men whose works in civil and human rights have made global and national impact.  

The human rights activist and Nobel Peace Prize Laureate Tawakkol Karman has condemned Yemeni Foreign Ministry for a statement allegedly accusing her of making offensive remarks to Egypt, describing it as “childish behaviour”.

Yemeni human rights activist and Nobel Peace Prize Winner Tawakkol Karman has criticized the performance of the Egyptian media when she labeled it as superficial and failing. 

Yemen’ human rights activist and Nobel Peace Prize Winner has headed to the United States of America to receive 2016 Freedom Award granted by the National Civil Rights Museum.
