More than 640 students enroll in December 2025 English language scholarship
More than 640 students of various nationalities have joined the December 2025 cohort of the English language scholarship offered by Tawakkol Karman Foundation, as part of its flagship Leaders for Future program. The new intake reflects the foundation’s continuing efforts to equip young people with the knowledge and communication skills needed to meet the challenges of an increasingly competitive world.
Students in the new cohort have been placed in dozens of virtual classrooms, beginning their studies in an interactive online environment alongside participants from previous intakes who continue to pursue their English courses under the scholarship.
Scholarship open to all ages and levels
The English language scholarship stands out as one of the foundation’s most inclusive educational initiatives. It is open to learners starting at age 7 and spans all levels, from foundational courses to preparation for TOEFL and IELTS exams, following a structured track tailored to participants’ individual needs.
Financial support and flexible programs
The scholarship covers 70 percent of English course fees, in addition to 100 percent of the costs associated with lectures and training activities linked to the English Diploma. The aim is to provide a comprehensive educational experience that combines language instruction with practical skill development.
Three tracks designed for different needs
The scholarship offers three main tracks:
Intensive program: Five days a week (Monday through Friday), three hours per day, designed for those who want to dedicate themselves fully to rapid and effective language acquisition.
"English for the Busy" program: Three days a week (Monday, Wednesday and Saturday), three hours per day, tailored for students, employees and others with demanding schedules.
Children’s program: Five days a week for ages 7 to 14, focused on building a strong linguistic foundation in a supportive and engaging learning environment.
Interactive online learning environment
All courses are delivered through an interactive distance-learning platform, with flexible scheduling options in the morning, afternoon and evening. Additional enrichment activities are integrated into the intensive and program for busy individuals tracks to further enhance participants’ skills and knowledge.
Continuing commitment to youth empowerment
The scholarship is part of a broader portfolio of educational and training initiatives launched by Tawakkol Karman Foundation to expand access to learning, strengthen capacities and prepare a generation capable of competing in the job market and driving positive change at both the local and international levels.
Leaders for Future remains one of the foundation’s most prominent programs in education and capacity-building, providing participants with the linguistic and cognitive tools to open new horizons in their academic and professional journeys.
