The Houthi militia and Yemen’s overthrown president Ali Abdullah Saleh have caused all calamities and pains that have plagued, and still continue to plague, Yemen, said Nobel Peace Prize winner and human rights defender, Tawakkol Karman. 

The Nobel Peace Prize laureate and human rights activist Tawakkol Karman said the Islamic state(IS) has emerged and grown up because the world did not listen to the voices coming from the countries of the Arab Spring. 

The Nobel Peace laureate Tawakkol Karman today arrived in Madrid to participate in an international conference organized by the Guatemalan Women's Association.

Yemen has been between the hammer of an Iranian-backed sectarian fascist coup, which claims the divine right to rule the others, and the anvil of an Arab coalition that works only for its own interests, exploiting Yemen's vulnerability, said Nobel Peace laureate and human rights activist Tawakkol Karman. 

Th Saudi Arabia-led military coalition fighting in Yemen has prevented Yemen’s president exiled in Riyadh, Abd Rabbo Mansour Hadi from returning to Yemen’s temporary capital, Aden, placing him under house arrest in Saudi capital, stated Nobel Peace laureate and political activist Tawakkol Karman.

The Nobel Peace Prize laureate Tawakkol Karman has mocked remarks by Saudi Foreign Minister Adel Al-Jubeir who was quoted as saying that his country leading a military intervention in Yemen has provided more than $ 8 billion as humanitarian aid to Yemen. 

Nobel Peace laureate and human rights defender Tawakkol Karman has headed to Scotland after a visit to Norway for a few days.
