The Nobel Peace Prize laureate, Tawakkol Karman, praised the Yemeni parties in Sweden for achieving the first step towards peace by their agreement on the Sweden's understandings today about the detainees, the Sana'a airport and the port of Hodeidah.

The Nobel Peace Prize winner Tawakkol Karman has supported the prisoner exchange deal between the internationally recognized government and the rebellious Houthi militia, saying it was an important achievement for the UN envoy Martin Griffith.

The Nobel Peace Prize winner Tawakkol Karman confirmed that Yemeni women are at risk of  war, asserting that Arab women were at the forefront of the Arab Spring revolutions.

In a conference organized by the Argentine government entitled "Struggle, Legacy and the Future of our Rights," the Nobel Peace Prize laureate Tawakkol Karman delivered a lecture on the rights, freedoms and the struggle of women to participate in the political life in Rosario, the largest city in the province of Santa. 

The Nobel Peace Prize laureate Tawakkol Karman reiterated that the Saudi-UAE treacherous coalition is not exercising freedom and liberation in Yemen, but occupation, domination and guardianship, calling on Yemenis to resist and reject it as a humanitarian duty.
